Started the day out by listening to The Beatles - which usually sets the tempo for the rest of the day depending on what comes my way.
I’ve been reading about a lot of gadgets lately and am impressed with some of the things coming out. Many of the “why didn’t I think of that?” Or “It was only a matter of time before someone invented that or came up with that idea?” And again that is the case here.

Amazon has released Kindle, which not only allows you to carry hundreds of novels with you at any given time, it uses the same wireless technology as cellphones so there is no connecting fees to browse books online and purchase right from a couple of clicks on your Kindle. Which means you can be in the back of a taxi, or walking down a street and buy a book and have it auto-delivered in under a minute! Isn’t that amazing?
I know what you’re thinking, “why didn’t I think of that?” Well, that’s how good ideas come - from right under our noses.
The display looks like paper, you can flip through pages fast, and even bookmark, highlight sections save your place and much more. Between this gadget, and the latest MacBook - I know what I want for my birthday.
Read more about Kindle and see pics here.

So much for the idea of romantic “rainy nights.” It has been rainy cats and dogs lately, and despite the classic idea of enjoying a rainy day afternoon - it gets old pretty quick.
Lots of rainy days and nights means more time for video games - or at least looking at more sites on the internet.

After giving it some thought, I wonder how many people actually use these “online personals” sites. There are people in my family who have met other people online and now live with them! So there has to be a few out there who are willing to give it a try, right?
Lifestyle Personals lets you meet others in your area and hook up for a date, or dinner, whatever you feel like doing I suppose.
Many people I know are tired of the bar scene and wish they could just meet other people like themselves and have a good time.

I’ve been reading this book Inc And Grow Rich trying to learn more about the incorporation process.
I needed to find a quick and easy to read book giving me the basics on pros and cons of different types of corporations and the benefits of incorporating. “Save yourself 70% in taxes and protect your assets forever.”
When starting to invest, it is important to think about the protection of those assets while conducting business online, or work from home. So, I am reading as much as I can and will post about what is going on as I can.
I find these books easier to read than the common get-rich books, but all are important to build my understanding or financial intelligence.

So my wife has been playing World of Warcraft lately.
Did you know there is a wave of “girl gamers” on the internet? Yes, with the popularity of video games and online gaming in general, there are now women lurking behind those MMORPG charachters kicking your butt in PVP (player versus player) combat!
Be careful who you chose to duel if you are unable to handle getting your butt kicked by a 2 foot tall girl. There are female Gnome Frost Mages that will cripple you in PVP and are a valued part of any dungeon group.

How many adults play World of Warcraft? I bet it is more than you would imagine! Today’s video gamer is not just a chubby faced kid with glasses. Much of today’s gaming advertising is not only aimed at adults, but many of the games themselves are intended for adults. The video game industry has spent a lot of money to break away from the “chubby kid” gamer image.
While some are clearly for both kids and adults. World of Warcraft is a MMORPG which is Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or something similar. The game is the “world” or online version of the very successful Warcraft real time strategy games for the PC.
“Do you play World of Warcraft?” just may be the next pick up line in a bar!
World of Warcraft is very popular right now and you can find many screenshots of actual game play on the internet.

So I guess I’m going to order a couple more Get Rich Books
. I feel like a romance addicted housewife who can’t put down grocery store novels
But they encourage me nonetheless.
Maybe I’ll get an online payday loan and order the red iPod.

Wow, so now I guess you can sue for ridiculous amounts of money for just about anything these days.
Is this guy really a judge? How can a judge be so irrational and still be taken serious?
Roy Pearson Jr lost his initial lawsuit of 54 million dollars to a local dry cleaner who seemed to have misplaced his pants. But he has filed an appeal, even though the Chung family withdrew their motion to have Pearson pay their legal fees. Which are at about $82,000. The Chung family has raised $100,000 in donations and fundraisers to help cover the legal fees and business losses.
54 million for missing pants?

Sounds like Google is now offering storage plans for gmail and its other products.
I wonder why some would pay for this storage when its free at like Yahoo?
I don’t personally use much space for gmail, i only have about 10 messages that are in there right now - so I wonder, who in their right mind would pay $500 USD a year to store photos and emails? The $500 plan gets you 250 gigs though.
