With the summer coming so soon, it’s time for a little bit of home improvement.

We started with repairing any damaged wood, sanding, and then painting. There is a lot more to do such as, changing out light fixtures, putting ceramic tile on the floor, replacing door jambs and more…

The Hybrid GS Lexus for 2008 looks nice. “The luxury hybrid sedan that delivers extraordinary performance and lower emissions.”
I looked up the gas mileage on it.
The car gets 20% better fuel economy than its conventional cousin: 25 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, compared with 18/25 mpg. According to Lexus, that’s good for a savings of about 200 gallons per year, or $560 at current California prices for premium fuel.
When the “hybrid automobiles” started coming out, I thought they didn’t look as powerful as regular cars, but more and more that is being proven to me to not be the case. Some of the hybrids are really nice, like the Lexus above. The better gas mileage and lower emissions is a good bonus.

I’ve been reading this book Inc And Grow Rich trying to learn more about the incorporation process.
I needed to find a quick and easy to read book giving me the basics on pros and cons of different types of corporations and the benefits of incorporating. “Save yourself 70% in taxes and protect your assets forever.”
When starting to invest, it is important to think about the protection of those assets while conducting business online, or work from home. So, I am reading as much as I can and will post about what is going on as I can.
I find these books easier to read than the common get-rich books, but all are important to build my understanding or financial intelligence.

I have made the decision that this is the year I really begin investing my money.
I just started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad last night, and while I have read many self-help financial books, I have always said “I’ll start investing when I have more money.” I think that attitude is what is getting in my way and I need to invest more money in things, and this is the year!
Hopefully, since I am a quick learning, I will take what I know, and what I have learned and do the best I can this year.
From what I have read so far, Rich Dad Poor Dad seems like a good book to start with at this moment.

So I guess I’m going to order a couple more Get Rich Books
. I feel like a romance addicted housewife who can’t put down grocery store novels
But they encourage me nonetheless.
Maybe I’ll get an online payday loan and order the red iPod.

Finally! Not only do I enjoy The Beatles
music, I really like John Lennon
and now the world will be able to listen to his music through the popular iTunes music download service from Apple.
Apple Inc. has introduced a reason for fans of The Beatles
to rejoice by including sixteen albums of the legendary John Lennon in its iTunes music store. He is the third of the fab four to have his solo work digitally available. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have already made their digital debuts.
Sixteen solo albums of John Lennon
from EMI group can be downloaded now, including the “Lennon Legend” and “Acoustic” collections, which make their first worldwide digital introduction.

Wow, so now I guess you can sue for ridiculous amounts of money for just about anything these days.
Is this guy really a judge? How can a judge be so irrational and still be taken serious?
Roy Pearson Jr lost his initial lawsuit of 54 million dollars to a local dry cleaner who seemed to have misplaced his pants. But he has filed an appeal, even though the Chung family withdrew their motion to have Pearson pay their legal fees. Which are at about $82,000. The Chung family has raised $100,000 in donations and fundraisers to help cover the legal fees and business losses.
54 million for missing pants?

Listen up folks, Elvis
is dead. I wish his family would stop selling his image and sound over and over exploiting him and reducing him to a candy bar wrapper. yes, the new Reeses Peanut Butter cup “King Size” now has a Elvis toon to promote the sugary snack.
Now don’t get me wrong, I like Elvis
and his music - but he is dead. People need to stop acting as if he is still alive and on tour. His family is behind this.
The only reason Elvis
is called “The King” is because he trademarked it. He is not known as the King of Rock and Roll for his music, its only a branded image. Most of you won’t even understand that, but that is the truth. His family paid lots of money to trademark his image and now sells it every day. He longer performs, he is no longer writing music (which he didn’t do much of) and he isn’t coming back.
Get over it, and let the man die. As I see it, his fans and family have stripped him of any honor because as of now, all he does is sell Reeses peanut butter cups.
This is what the King does?????
Sorry, but your king is now a jester. As admitted by the people who came up with the Reeses campaign, Elvis never ate Reeses Peanut Butter cups.
Is this what will become of musicians and celebs in the future, product endorsements even after death?

Sounds like Google is now offering storage plans for gmail and its other products.
I wonder why some would pay for this storage when its free at like Yahoo?
I don’t personally use much space for gmail, i only have about 10 messages that are in there right now - so I wonder, who in their right mind would pay $500 USD a year to store photos and emails? The $500 plan gets you 250 gigs though.

My one-year wedding anniversary is coming up and I haven’t decided what to buy my wife. I want to buy her something nice, and something she will like.
When I buy gifts, I try to buy something for the person, that they wouldn’t buy for themselves. So I am debating buying her a Pink Prada Handbag and something else. I haven’t decided what else yet, but something - anything - other than another expensive handbag.
Maybe I should get her these Pink Versace Jeans
