Started the day out by listening to The Beatles – which usually sets the tempo for the rest of the day depending on what comes my way.

I’ve been reading about a lot of gadgets lately and am impressed with some of the things coming out. Many of the “why didn’t I think of that?” Or “It was only a matter of time before someone invented that or came up with that idea?” And again that is the case here.

Amazon has released Kindle, which not only allows you to carry hundreds of novels with you at any given time, it uses the same wireless technology as cellphones so there is no connecting fees to browse books online and purchase right from a couple of clicks on your Kindle. Which means you can be in the back of a taxi, or walking down a street and buy a book and have it auto-delivered in under a minute! Isn’t that amazing?

I know what you’re thinking, “why didn’t I think of that?” Well, that’s how good ideas come – from right under our noses.

The display looks like paper, you can flip through pages fast, and even bookmark, highlight sections save your place and much more. Between this gadget, and the latest MacBook – I know what I want for my birthday.

I have made the decision that this is the year I really begin investing my money.

I just started reading Rich Dad Poor Dad last night, and while I have read many self-help financial books, I have always said “I’ll start investing when I have more money.” I think that attitude is what is getting in my way and I need to invest more money in things, and this is the year!

Hopefully, since I am a quick learning, I will take what I know, and what I have learned and do the best I can this year.

From what I have read so far, Rich Dad Poor Dad seems like a good book to start with at this moment.

So I guess I’m going to order a couple more Get Rich Books. I feel like a romance addicted housewife who can’t put down grocery store novels But they encourage me nonetheless.

Maybe I’ll get an online payday loan and order the red iPod.

Sounds like Google is now offering storage plans for gmail and its other products.

I wonder why some would pay for this storage when its free at like Yahoo?

I don’t personally use much space for gmail, i only have about 10 messages that are in there right now – so I wonder, who in their right mind would pay $500 USD a year to store photos and emails? The $500 plan gets you 250 gigs though.

What’s with all the Harry Potter hype? I am one of those who have not seen the movies, haven’t read the books, and don’t know jack about it.

But, Harry Potter seems to be very popular.

Is it the way it is marketed to the public? Is it the new way to hook children on story lines and books to sell them tons of merchandise? Like it or not, it seems Harry Potter is here to stay. Unless he dies in the latest book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
